I can't believe it's over! I have been here every step of the way with these characters and I don't want it to end. I feel like I'm losing some of my best friends, but I can go back and reread this series and see them again whenever I want to. This last book brings everything together so you end the book feeling satisfied, which I guess that's all we can ask for. (But if you want to keep writing this series forever Kimberly I would keep reading! 😉)

I dearly love this series and will miss it. I am amazed to have been allowed the chance to visit this world and will miss it greatly. Loth is an amazing writer and I will look forward to many more wonderful works from her.
I fell in love with Obsidian when I happened to stumble over it, while perusing another book. I have loved dragon stories ever since I read Ann McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern. The cover drew me in quickly, so I bought and read Obsidian. Then Aspen, Valentine, Skye and now, The Kings. This whole series has been a blast from laughter, to tears, to nail bitting, to feeling an actual part of the story. The Kings is a great finish to a wonderful series that I will read again and again.
I read the entire series. It ended just like I thought it should. It is amazing that she can write 5 books and keep me interested.I was very pleased how the series ended. It ended the way the Harry Potter series ended - the good guys win. That is the better way, all live happily ever after even the readers.
This last book brings a satisfying conclusion to the story but, like everyone else, I hate to see it end. The characters are awesome and well developed throughout the books. There are many twists and turns along the way, a wonderful adventure filled with challenge and courage. I definitely recommend this book (and the entire series) for an outstanding read! You won’t be sorry.
Halfway through book 3, I told my husband, I hope that skye is the third king. Lo and behold skye was the third king. I was so happy! Love this series. I hate that Runa had to die and I kind of hope that there is a way for the dragons to embrace the magic and maybe give every dragon the opportunity to become human for 5 to 10 years so maybe more of them can find their soulmates.
The Kings – Book 5
This final installment in the series wraps up all the pieces from the first four books. So many things have been hinted at during the previous stories, and this one reveals which were “red herrings” and which were real foreshadowing. There were even a few things that made me hit my forehead and wonder why I didn’t catch them earlier on. The action will have you cheering, laughing, breathing a sigh of relief, and likely even crying at times.
I love this one the best of all oh I have been an avid reader and fan of Kim's I own all of her work she is witty and amazing with her story structure! Loth never disappoints with her books I have fallen in love with all her worlds and look forward to her next world! I will miss the world of dragons however and the loyalty they shared thank you again Kim for taking me to these amazing places!
